I think US is unjustified to dropping the atomic bombs.because Potsdam Convention, the defeat of Japan has been destined to the United States has no reason to revert to the Japanese attack.Although the dropping of atomic bombs to accelerate the demise of the Japanese militarism, but also hurt the 200,000 innocent civilians.
SO i think US have a choose to not dropping the bomb to japan.

'Merica was justified in using the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was necesary to lessen casualities in Japan and prevent any US casaulties. Japan was known for fighting to the last man and most likely would've used children to help fight. The death toll and waste or natural resources would've more horrible than the 2 atom bombs. The bombs also brought a quicker end to the war.

We think the US was justified in dropping the bomb on Japan because of the lack of surrender and the amount of American deaths. The US knew that the amount of casualties in this war would be enormous and so to limit the amount of deaths in Americas name. The US has also been fighting this war against Japan and they have seen first-hand that these opponents would not give up unless there would be a catastrophic attack to push their forces over the edge. This decision Hoover made was and always will be an extremely controversial issue, but at that time in order to preserve peace and preserve the US citizen and solider casualties.

  12. The United states was justified in the bombings because it not only saved American lives, but also many Japanese lives. Our group believes the attack on Japan should have been only aimed at Japan's military leaders and decision makers; or aimed at one of Japan's islands. This will always be a controversial issue; although America killed many unnecessary victims in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we had to do it because it put an end to the war and saved American lives.
